The rules and guidelines of this family are as follows:
1. Come with a positive attitude, willingness to do whatever is asked of you, a bottle of humor and wit, a sense of self-respect and respect for others and a lot of patience.
2. ALWAYS be polite. Impertinence and disrespect of any kind will not be tolerated. Your conduct WILL determine whether or not you gain rank. Rudeness or loss of temper will be called on in a private chat with a high-ranked member who can assess the situation. They will assess the circumstance and try to help you calm down. A second outburst will result in mandatory counseling from the Administrator (Jen/Mrs. Boss). She will give you a warning as well. A third offense will result in either a kick from the chat room or banning, depending on the offense. The duration of a ban will be determined by the severity of the offense.
3. Never bring your personal skirmishes to the chat unless you can back it up with legitimate facts as to why you are involved in them and how many mobsters there are involved against you. If you are being attacked, analyze the pattern of attacks before bringing the i.d. or i.d.s to the chat. If you have been attacked by different mobsters 1 or 2 times, they probably found you on the attack list. This is not something the family should address. If you would like to seek revenge on a mobster, keep it to yourself unless you believe that people in chat might want to have some "fun" with the i.d., or if there are many mobsters attacking you many times all at once. Please bring this to the family's attention if that is the case.
4. If and when there is a meeting, please attend if you can. It is beneficial that you know what is going on with the family.
5. Your attendance will determine your dedication, so please drop in and stay for a while. Do whatever you can to help the family and you will be rewarded according to what you have done, in good time.
6. Know the game of Mobsters. Although we are a family, we do not always have the time to introduce the application. However, if you are not familiar with it, please let us know and we/someone will work with you. Please try to learn it on your own, too.
7. There is to be absolutely NO mistreatment of our female members (the guys are important too, but the ladies are sensitive). Such conduct will not be tolerated, and will be assessed immediately, no matter who you are, who they are or what your rank is.
8. Always do what you are asked. If someone of rank gives you a job, do it to the best of your ability.
9. Most importantly, have fun. This is a game. Please do not bring drama into the chat or forum. We want to be a family, and not an anarchy.
